As reported by the Bangkok newspaper The Nation, the online academic forum Midnight University (www.midnightuniv.org) was shut down by Thailand's Information and Communications Technology Ministry on September 29, one day after five Chiang Mai University scholars tore up an imitation interim constitution and criticized the Council for Democratic Reform (CDR) for drafting the provisional charter without public participation.
